Global Diving & Salvage, Inc. Completes Heavy Lift Salvage Operation of Historic Tug, USS Wenonah

When the vintage 100′ World War II Tug, USS Wenonah, took on water and sank at her berth August 17, 2009 on Treasure Island, she created an oil spill and a continued threat to the environmental due to remaining hydrocarbons and other hazardous materials on board. Thanks to the rapid response by Global Diving & Salvage, Inc, the U.S. Coast Guard – Sector San Francisco, and the California Department of Fish and Game (Office of Spill Prevention and Response), the vessel was quickly recovered to mitigate further environmental damage.

Hydro Alternative Energy, Inc. Announces Agreement with Parametric Solutions, Inc.

HAE is developing a system to generate clean, inexpensive and predictable energy by converting ocean and tidal currents into usable energy through its Hydro Power Generation System. Utilizing these currents we can create significantly higher levels of power generation as compared to other renewable and/or alternative energy sources such as, wind and solar power. The turbines within our system will be positioned on the sea floor, so it is out of the general line of sight and will continually run with the current.
