Gerrish Honda Protects Customers and Employees with AVG Anti-Virus

If he had to name his one biggest IT frustration in his 13 years as manager of Gerrish Honda in Lebanon, NH, Steve Perlowski would have no hesitation: he simply could not find an anti-virus product that kept his computers protected and didn't get in the way of doing business.

Like many small business managers, Perlowski acted as Gerrish's IT manager as well as running sales, accounting, and purchasing. So the time he had to deal with any problems that might arise on any of his 30 workstations was limited. He tried many brands of anti-virus software, but every time he was disappointed with the results.

Islamic Terrorists' and Salem Witch Hunters' Motives Same Says Author of New Book

Stephen Hawley Martin, author of the widely discussed new book on the Salem witch hysteria, “A Witch in the Family,” said today that the similarities between Muslim extremists and the Puritans of seventeenth century New England are striking.

“For Muslims, putting God or Allah ahead of all else is paramount, and they are reminded of this five times a day when they bow toward Mecca on hands and knees, touching their foreheads to the ground in prayer,” he said. “Westerners, whether Christians, Jews, or atheists, don’t do this. Because of our wealth and the emphasis we put on commerce, it isn’t hard then to see why some Muslims view us in the West, particularly in America, as bowing to the almighty dollar. For them, the World Trade Center was a symbol of this, a temple we had raised up with twin spires. In their view, the emphasis we put on money and power puts us in Satan’s camp.”

InventHelp Client Invents Lifting Device for Modular Structures

InventHelp announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Bloomington, Calif., has designed a portable device that would facilitate lifting mobile or modular structures. The inventor has created a prototype.

The MODU-LIFT would improve safety for workers who install or move such buildings, and would help to ensure that a job is done correctly. The device would make this type of work faster, easier and less labor intensive. Also, the MODU-LIFT would be easy to transport to sites.

A job-related need inspired the development of the MODU-LIFT. "The idea came to me because I was tired of wasting so much valuable time each work day," he said. "Time and again, I'd show up to sites to pick up mt modular units, only to find that the workers still weren't finished lifting them."
