On The Edge Entertainment and Play Hard Records is sponsoring the “2006 Unsigned Talent Search” with the auditions beginning on March 4th, 2006 in Los Angeles. This national competition is available for everyone from singers, rappers, groups, bands and duo's from across the country. The entire show will be recorded and mailed to various A&R sources in the music industry. This event will also be filmed for a “Reality TV” series and released on DVD worldwide.

Thousands of talented performers will compete for a chance to win recording contract(s), cash prizes, studio time & equipment, chance to be on our film soundtrack, chance to perform in the independent film (Mind Games), and a free trip to New York. This event will feature live entertainers and special surprise celebrity performances. Music talents of all genres are invited to participate - including hip-hop, rap, neo-soul, rock, R&B, reggae, gospel, country and even Latin. $1,000.00 in cash & prizes will be awarded to the first place semi-finalist each state. Door prizes in the form of certificates and donations from local businesses will be given to audience members.

Only 5 of the semi-finalist chosen from the various auditions will be chosen to compete in the 2006 Unsigned Artist Showcase finals which will also feature a surprise celebrity performance. Selection of the Finalists is within the sole discretion of the audition committee. The decision of the Talent Show Committee is final.

Pre registration is required to participate in this event. There are a limited number of entries for this event and we advise you not to delay your registration. The deadline for submitting your online registration form is Tuesday, January 31st, 2006 at 5:00 P.M. Pacific Stand Time.
