There are so many holiday villa web sites with so many villas listed now, it is becoming increasingly difficult to know where to start.
David Maynerd, who has been letting his villa for the last 18 years launched a web site, www.oceanviewvillas.co.uk about 4 years ago, which focuses on villas with 'lovely views, in particular 'sea views but villas with other special views of 'lakes, 'valleys, 'mountains are also included.
David maintains that there is something magical about having a spectacular view from your, villa, terrace / pool which, mixed with lovely hot sunshine gives you that, 'it is great to be alive feeling and creates the 'best holiday ever reaction. Lets face it, you hope to be spending most of your time outside around the pool.
'We were lucky enough to be able to buy a villa overlooking the sea in Moraira, Spain in 1987 and we have been inundated with families wanting to book it for holidays ever since says David 'thats what gave me the idea. 'Now instead of just saying, sorry we are fully booked, I can tell them about our web site and I know their time was not wasted.
The site now has a collection of around 200 villas across Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Greece, Italy, France attracting between 300 and 400 visitors a day all looking for their ideal holiday location.
At the end of the day it is all about 'location, location, location!
'It has taken 4 years to accumulate these special villas with special views around Europe, but I believe the effort was worth it and we get excellent feedback from customers and villa owners.
